Matthew 21:12–13

BG1940

KJV

21:12¶ And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

21:13And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Mark 11:15–19

BG1940

KJV

11:15¶ And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

11:16And would not suffer that any man should carry [any] vessel through the temple.

11:17And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

11:18And the scribes and chief priests heard [it], and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

11:19And when even was come, he went out of the city.

Luke 19:45–48

BG1940

19:47И поучаваше всеки ден в храма. А главните свещеници, книжниците и народните първенци се стараеха да Го погубят;

KJV

19:45And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;

19:46Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

19:47And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,

19:48And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

John 2:13–25

BG1940

2:14И намери в храма продавачите на волове, овце и гълъби, и тия, които седяха и разменяха пари;

2:15и направи бич от върви и изпъди всички <тях> от храма, както и овцете и воловете; изсипа парите на среброменителите, и прекатури трапезите им;

KJV

2:13¶ And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,

2:14And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

2:15And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

2:16And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

2:17And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

2:18¶ Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

2:19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

2:20Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

2:21But he spake of the temple of his body.

2:22When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

2:23¶ Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast [day], many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

2:24But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all [men],

2:25And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
