Woes to the Pharisees
Matthew 23:1–7
BG1940
23:2На Моисеевото седалище седят книжниците и фарисеите;
KJV
23:1Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
23:2Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
23:3All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, [that] observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
23:4For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay [them] on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
23:5But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
23:6And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
23:7And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
Mark 12:35–40
BG1940
12:39и първите столове по синагогите, и първите места при угощенията;
KJV
12:35¶ And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?
12:36For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
12:37David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he [then] his son? And the common people heard him gladly.
12:38¶ And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and [love] salutations in the marketplaces,
12:39And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:
12:40Which devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.
Luke 20:45–47
BG1940
20:46Пазете се от книжниците, които обичат да ходят пременени, и обичат поздрави по пазарите, първите столове в синагогите, и първите места по угощенията;
KJV
20:45¶ Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,
20:46Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
20:47Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
