25:1Тогава небесното царство ще се оприличи на десет девици, които взеха светилниците, си и излязоха да посрещнат младоженеца.

25:2А от тях пет бяха неразумни и пет разумни.

25:3Защото неразумните, като взеха светилниците, не взеха масло със себе си.

25:4Но разумните, заедно със светилниците си взеха и масло в съдовете си.

25:5И докато се бавеше младоженецът, додряма се на всичките, и заспаха.

25:6А по среднощ се нададе вик: Ето младоженецът [иде!] излизайте да го посрещнете!

25:7Тогава всички ония девици станаха и приготвиха светилниците си.

25:8А неразумните рекоха на разумните: Дайте ни от вашето масло, защото нашите светилници угасват.

25:9А разумните в отговор казаха: Да не би да не стигне и за нас и за вас, по-добре идете при продавачите и си купете.

25:10А когато те отидоха да купят, младоженецът пристигна; и готовите влязоха с него на сватбата, и вратата се затвори.

25:11После дохождат и другите девици и казват: Господи! Господи! отвори ни.

25:12А той в отговор рече: Истина ви казвам: Не ви познавам.

25:13И тъй, бдете; защото не знаете ни деня, ни часа, [в който Човешкият Син ще дойде].

25:1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

25:2And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish.

25:3They that [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

25:4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

25:5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

25:6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

25:7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

25:8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

25:9But the wise answered, saying, [Not so]; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

25:10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

25:11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

25:12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

25:13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
