3:4¶ And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, with the wool.

3:5But it came to pass, when Ahab was dead, that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel.

20:1След това моавците и амонците, и с тях някои от маонците {Еврейски: Амонците. Виж. 10 и Гл. 26:7.} дойдоха да воюват против Иосафата.

20:2Тогава някои дойдоха та известиха на Иосафата, като рекоха: Голямо множество иде против тебе изотвъд <Соленото> море, от Сирия; и ето ги в Асасон-тамар, (който е Енгади).

20:3А Иосафат се уплаши, и предаде се да търси Господа, и прогласи пост по целия Юда.

20:1It came to pass after this also, [that] the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them [other] beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.

20:2Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they [be] in Hazazon-tamar, which [is] En-gedi.

20:3And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
