2 Peter 2:5–6

BG1940

2:5и <ако> не пощади стария свят, но опази с още седем души Ноя, проповедника на правдата, когато нанесе потоп върху нечестивия свят;

KJV

2:5And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth [person], a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

2:6And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

Genesis 7:23

BG1940

KJV

7:23And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained [alive], and they that [were] with him in the ark.

Genesis 8:1–22

BG1940

8:6После, след четиридесет дни, Ной отвори прозореца на ковчега, що беше направил;

8:18Ной излезе, и с него синовете му, жена му и снахите му;

8:20И Ной издигна олтар на Господа; и взе от всяко чисто животно и от всяка чиста птица, та ги принесе за всеизгаряния на олтара;

KJV

8:1And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that [was] with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;

8:2The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

8:3And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

8:4And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

8:5And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first [day] of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

8:6¶ And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:

8:7And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

8:8Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;

8:9But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters [were] on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

8:10And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;

8:11And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth [was] an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

8:12And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

8:13¶ And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first [month], the first [day] of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

8:14And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.

8:15¶ And God spake unto Noah, saying,

8:16Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.

8:17Bring forth with thee every living thing that [is] with thee, of all flesh, [both] of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

8:18And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him:

8:19Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, [and] whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.

8:20¶ And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

8:21And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart [is] evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

8:22While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Genesis 19:1–38

BG1940

19:12Тогава мъжете рекоха на Лота: Имаш ли тука друг някой: зет, синове, дъщери и които и да било други, що имаш в града, изведи ги из това място;

19:27Сутринта Авраам подрани на мястото, дето беше стоял пред Господа;

KJV

19:1And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing [them] rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

19:2And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

19:3And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

19:4¶ But before they lay down, the men of the city, [even] the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

19:5And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where [are] the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

19:6And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

19:7And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

19:8Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as [is] good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

19:9And they said, Stand back. And they said [again], This one [fellow] came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, [even] Lot, and came near to break the door.

19:10But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

19:11And they smote the men that [were] at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

19:12¶ And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring [them] out of this place:

19:13For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.

19:14And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

19:15¶ And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

19:16And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

19:17¶ And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

19:18And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:

19:19Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

19:20Behold now, this city [is] near to flee unto, and it [is] a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, ([is] it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.

19:21And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.

19:22Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

19:23¶ The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.

19:24Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

19:25And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

19:26¶ But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

19:27¶ And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:

19:28And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

19:29¶ And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

19:30¶ And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

19:31And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father [is] old, and [there is] not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:

19:32Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

19:33And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

19:34And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, [and] lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

19:35And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

19:36Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.

19:37And the firstborn bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same [is] the father of the Moabites unto this day.

19:38And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Ben-ammi: the same [is] the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.
