Resurrection and Sonship
BG1940
22:25А между нас имаше седмина братя; и първият се ожени и умря; и, като нямаше потомък, остави жена си на брата си;

22:23¶ The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
22:24Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
22:25Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
22:26Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
22:27And last of all the woman died also.
22:28Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
22:29Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
22:30For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
22:31But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
22:32I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
22:33And when the multitude heard [this], they were astonished at his doctrine.
22:34¶ But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
22:35Then one of them, [which was] a lawyer, asked [him a question], tempting him, and saying,
22:36Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
22:37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
22:38This is the first and great commandment.
22:39And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
22:40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
22:41¶ While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
22:42Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, [The Son] of David.
22:43He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
22:44The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
22:45If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
22:46And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any [man] from that day forth ask him any more [questions.]

12:29Исус отговори: Първата е: "Слушай, Израилю; Господ нашият Бог е един Господ;
12:32И книжникът Му рече: Превъзходно, Учителю! Ти право каза, че <Бог> е един; и няма друг освен Него;

12:18¶ Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
12:19Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man’s brother die, and leave [his] wife [behind him], and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
12:20Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
12:21And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
12:22And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.
12:23In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
12:24And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
12:25For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
12:26And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I [am] the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
12:27He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
12:28¶ And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
12:29And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
12:30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.
12:31And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
12:32And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
12:33And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love [his] neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
12:34And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him [any question.]

20:30И вторият и третият я взеха;
20:34А Исус им рече: Човеците на този свят се женят и се омъжват;

20:27¶ Then came to [him] certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,
20:28Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
20:29There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
20:30And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
20:31And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
20:32Last of all the woman died also.
20:33Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
20:34And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
20:35But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
20:36Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
20:37Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
20:38For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
20:39¶ Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.
20:40And after that they durst not ask him any [question at all].
20:41And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David’s son?
20:42And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
20:43Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
20:44David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
