Zadok is listed among the leaders of Israel who sealed the covenant during the time of Nehemiah. After the completion of Jerusalem's wall and the public reading of the Law, the people of Israel made a covenant to follow God's commandments and maintain proper worship. The leaders, including Zadok, sealed this covenant, pledging their commitment to uphold the Law and the religious practices of the community.
