Conditional birth estimate · c. 1468 BC – 1230 BC
Conditional birth bounds under generation assumptions; not attested parental ages, biological limits or a lifespan.
Below are relatives with a selected birth year, the generations separating them, and the interval allowed by each anchor. Each relative’s page shows available dates and sources. The overall estimate uses the intersection of the allowed intervals.

Hashabiah was one of the musicians in the temple during the reign of King David. He was a son of Jeduthun, who was one of the three main leaders of music appointed by David. Hashabiah and his brothers were assigned to play lyres and harps in the temple service. They were skilled musicians who prophesied under the direction of the king. (1Ch.25.3,19).
