Absolute years are conditional chronological estimates. A biblical passage may state an age or event, but does not by itself establish a BCE year. Different calendar systems are preserved separately.

Conditional birth estimate
Conditional birth bounds under generation assumptions; not attested parental ages, biological limits or a lifespan.
The anchors give incompatible conditional intervals. This calculation establishes no birth year.
Below are relatives with a selected birth year, the generations separating them, and the interval allowed by each anchor. Each relative’s page shows available dates and sources. The overall estimate uses the intersection of the allowed intervals.

Shephatiah was one of the sons of King Jehoshaphat of Judah, as recorded in 2Ch 21:2. He is mentioned alongside his brothers Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azaryahu, Michael, and Shephatiah. The passage states that Jehoshaphat gave his sons many gifts of silver, gold, and precious things, along with fortified cities in Judah. However, the kingdom was given to Jehoram, Jehoshaphat's firstborn son. The fact that Shephatiah and his brothers received gifts from their father suggests that they held positions of importance within the royal family, even though they did not inherit the throne.
One of Jehoshaphat’s sons (2 Chr. 21:2).
