Conditional birth estimate
Conditional birth bounds under generation assumptions; not attested parental ages, biological limits or a lifespan.
The anchors give incompatible conditional intervals. This calculation establishes no birth year.
Below are relatives with a selected birth year, the generations separating them, and the interval allowed by each anchor. Each relative’s page shows available dates and sources. The overall estimate uses the intersection of the allowed intervals.

Hamul was a son of Perez and a grandson of Judah, one of the twelve sons of Israel (or 'Jacob') (Gen 46:12; 1Ch 2:5). He was born to Perez, who was the son of Judah and Tamar (Gen 38:29). Hamul is mentioned in the genealogy of Judah, which is recorded in the book of Genesis when Jacob and his family moved to Egypt during the famine (Gen 46:12). He is also listed in the census of the Israelites taken in the wilderness of Sinai (Num 26:21). The descendants of Hamul, known as the Hamulites, are mentioned as one of the clans of the tribe of Judah (Num 26:21).
Spared, one of the sons of Pharez, son of Judah (1 Chr. 2:5). His descendants are called Hamulites (Num. 26:21).
