Conditional birth estimate

Conditional birth bounds under generation assumptions; not attested parental ages, biological limits or a lifespan.

The anchors give incompatible conditional intervals. This calculation establishes no birth year.

Below are relatives with a selected birth year, the generations separating them, and the interval allowed by each anchor. Each relative’s page shows available dates and sources. The overall estimate uses the intersection of the allowed intervals.

Pallu Article STEPBible TIPNR

Pallu was one of the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel (or 'Jacob') (Gen 46:9; Exo 6:14; 1Ch 5:3). He is mentioned in the genealogies of Reuben, which list the descendants of Reuben and their clans. Pallu's descendants formed the Palluite clan within the tribe of Reuben (Num.26.5, 8). The Palluites were one of the clans that made up the tribe of Reuben during the wilderness wanderings and the settlement of the Promised Land. The mention of Pallu and his descendants in these genealogies highlights the importance of family lineage and tribal identity in the organization and history of the Israelite community.
